Where it began
Shelena Shulterbrandt was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Her journey into fashion began watching her grandmother sew her school clothes. After moving to Houston at ten, she followed both her creativity and her studies, earning an Associate Degree in General Studies and then a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Houston.
Along the way she worked with Victoria's Secret, David's Bridal and Nordstrom, learning bridal, fit and luxury retail from the inside.
What she makes
Since 2018, Shelena has designed bespoke gowns and suits that help women, men and children love the skin they're in. Her passion is extravagant pieces for weddings, proms, special events and every unforgettable moment that makes life extraordinary.
